2022 School Council Election: Notice of Election and Call for Nominations (Parent and Employee)

An election is to be conducted for members of the school council of Hillsmeade Primary School.

Nomination forms may be obtained from the school office and must be lodged by 12.00pm Friday 18 Feb 2022.

Voting will close at 4.00pm Monday 28 Feb 2022.

There are three (3) parent positions vacant and two (2) DET staff positions vacant. The vacancies are for positions to be held for two years. Membership of school council comes with a number of responsibilities including attendance at meetings, and parents are encouraged to read about school councils when nominating (see attachment).

The election timeline, attached, follows the DET guidelines for election process. 
Election oversight will be Business Manager Stewart Johnson.

Stewart has been the school Business Manager since 2017. His background is in Technology and Banking, and he has 3 children at Hillsmeade.
