Fried Rice

It is just a simple family recipe that many friends asked for.

Equipment

  • A wok
  • A spatula

Ingredients
  

3 eggs, whisked

One big tub (1L) of cold cooked rice (refrigerated for at least one night)

One onion finely chopped or spring onions (spring onions tend to burn easily)

Veggies of your choice, for colours mainly (carrot, peas, capsicums, etc.), diced

Meat, optional, cooked bacon pieces or cold sous vide chicken breast strips or any cooked meat

Instructions
 

Heat oil.

    Cook eggs to tender, transfer cooked eggs out into a bowl.

      Cook veggies: onions and others, add one type at a time, stir frequently.

        Add cooked meat, stir.

          Add cooked rice and break the lumps, stir.

            Add cooked eggs back into the pan, break the large pieces into smaller pieces with the spatula, stir.

              Add seasoning (salt and pepper), stir.
