Lesson Information

  • Watch the instructional video and learn the tongue twister ‘Peter Piper’.
  • Practise the words slowly, tapping or clapping a steady beat.
  • Now challenge yourself to say the words faster – but remember to keep that steady beat.
  • Perform you tongue twister to a member of your family or see if you can teach it to them!

  • Don’t worry if you make any mistakes just keep going!

To make a personal response to music.

Lesson Information

  • Close your eyes and listen to the following piece of music: Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copland (written in 1942)

Now listen again and draw a picture to show either how you are feeling (the mood of the music) or what you are thinking about when you listen to the music.
