The DigiTech program, in line with the Victorian Curriculum, provides opportunities for students to:
- Learn how to be ‘digital citizens’; practising how to navigate safely in an online environment.
- Develop digital literacy by creating documents and working collaboratively to design, create and save documents for a specific audience, for example Word, Excel, Publisher, Paint.
- Think critically and creatively to problem-solve by explaining how their developed solutions and existing information systems meet their purposes, for example coding and game design.
- Participate in DigiTech-based elective programs, for example 3D printing.
